What Does the Dom Perignon Jeff Koons Limited Edition Champagne Look Like?

Jeff Koons released a miniaturized version of his iconic 8-foot Balloon Venus sculpture. The original Balloon Venus was a tribute to the continuing creative power which also reflects Dom Pierre Perignon’s enduring legacy.

It was inspired by an ancient five-foot statue of ‘Venus of Willendorf’ that honored fertility.

The artist interprets the sculpture as a union of feminine and masculine elements. While the bottle shape represents the masculine element, the Balloon Venus with its reflective curves is the feminine entity.

In the box cover design, the Ballon Venus sculpture is crafted over a dark background. Its color matches the type of Cuvee in the bottle - pink for the Rose and yellow for the Brut sparkling wine

The sculpture’s reflective surface reveals a view of the Jeff Koon studio. The artist’s signature completes the overall artwork on the Champagne bottle box.

The limited-edition 2003 Jeff Koons Dom Perignon Rose is packed with rich, fruity flavors, balanced acidity, and an addictive deep fruit, rosehip, and licorice aroma.

The 2004 Dom Perignon Jeff Koons Brut is gold-hued Champagne with expressive aromatics of dried flowers, pear, roasted almond, and spice. This bouquet is offset by exquisite lemon, and honey flavors, tart acidity, and intense minerality.
