A Quick Intro To The Korbel Winery
Korbel Champagne Cellars was founded in 1882 by three Korbel brothers. This winery is based in Guerneville, California, and is a division of the F Korbel Brothers, Inc.
Adolph Heck bought the winery in 1954 and ramped up its annual wine production. The winery went from selling 150,000 cases to around 1.3 million cases annually by 2011 - making it one of the USA’s largest wine producers.
