The Vinovest Marketplace is a live online marketplace where users can buy and sell investment-grade wine directly. Here, buyers place bids, sellers set asks, and transactions occur automatically when prices align—all with the assurance that every bottle is authenticated and insured.
A trading account on the Vinovest Marketplace empowers you to actively trade, and it’s a distinct account and setup from our primary managed portfolio, where our team of experts handles every aspect of building and rebalancing a long-term, diversified fine wine and whiskey collection on your behalf. You do not need a managed portfolio with Vinovest to open a trading account, or vice versa.
There are three ways to invest on the Vinovest Marketplace:
- Purchase wine through a collection, which take place every two weeks
- Place a bid on a wine listed for sale on the marketplace. The bid must be the same price or higher than the lowest listed asking price.
- Place a buy order. You can place the buy order on a wine not currently listed for sale. Additionally, if you believe a price is too high in the marketplace, you can place a buy order at the price of your choice. It will be up to a seller to determine if they want to meet your buy order.
