A deep, rich and expansive earth and red fruit nose offering intriguing notes of wonderfully pure Vosne spice and rich, powerful and solidly concentrated medium-bodied flavors that display moderately firm structure and good ripeness on the impressively long finish. For my taste this is getting close to its peak though it should hold at this level for years to come without any difficulty. Note that I have encountered some bottle variation.
