Burghound
This too displays an unbelievably seductive nose of vanilla, extract of pinot and spice though it can't quite match the complexity of the RSV. Sappy, mouth coating, big, robust and very powerful flavors with nary a trace of the rusticity and rough tannins that young Richebourg often displays. This seems to ooze cassis from start to finish and the persistent has to be experienced to be believed though the wine remains backward if not severe. In a word, this is dazzling.
