Stephen Tanzer
Pale-medium red. Smoky red fruits on the subdued nose. Supple, rich and pliant, with enticing sweetness to the fruit-driven flavors of cherry and raspberry. Finishes with solid, dusty tannins and good floral persistence.
Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The 2006 Nuits-St.-Georges Les Thorey (from a former Thomas-Moillard – now de Montille – monopole situated above Bousselots) smells generously of ripe purple plum and dark cherry with peat and chalk dust; offers mouth-filling richness and silken tannins; and finishes with superb length and balance of ripe fruit and mineral elements. This should be worth following for at least 6-8 years.

An earthy and notably spicy dark berry fruit nose trimmed in discreet oak tones merges into rich and sappy flavors that are rich, full and nicely round on the concentrated mid-palate underpinned by dense but fine tannins with more obvious depth and length.
Wine Spectator
Sweet aromas of sawdust and vanilla merge with cherry and spice flavors as this red dovetails on the long finish. Silky and intense, with balance and a bright structure. Best from 2010 through 2019. 233 cases made.
