Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
Served from magnum, the Méo-Camuzet 2006 Corton Grand Cru Clos Rognet is beginning to drink very well, offering up a classic nose of red-black fruit, leafy forest floor, cocoa nib and a subtle touch of grilled game. On the palate, the wine is tense, mineral and fine-grained, more vertical and austere than the Domaine's Vosne-Romanée bottlings, more wild too—but a very compelling wine that speaks clearly of its origins.
