The 2010 Nuits St. Georges Aux Cras is showing beautifully, with a vibrancy and focus that is immensely appealing. Sweet red berries, crushed flowers, mint and minerals inform the striking finish. Anticipated maturity: 2015-2030.

There is an intense minerality to the beautifully well-detailed and energetic flavors that possess superb depth of material and outstanding complexity before terminating in a persistent and mouth coating finish that delivers 'wow' level length. This is a stunner of a Les Cras; in fact it's absolutely textbook and I really like the ample amount of underlying tension.
