A spicy style, with sandalwood, vanilla, incense and cardamom notes, showing touches of herb and sweet strawberry. Delicate and intense, accented by echoes of spice and licorice on the finish.

There is a floral character to the very fresh red cherry, earth and spice suffused nose. Likewise, there is equally good freshness and punch to the fleshy medium-bodied flavors that possess an appealingly textured mouth feel, all wrapped in a complex, dusty, firm and solidly structured finish that offers good if not special depth. While not overtly rustic, this is definitely Nuits in basic character.
