This shows such clarity and freshness with so much minerality. Blue fruits too. Medium to full body, linear tannins and acidity. Dark chocolate undertones. Needs two or three years to soften.

That blending flexibility adds to the overall balance of the wine, which is very important in a vintage like 2012 that was not always easy across the various townships of the Barolo appellation. Bright cherry and blackberry are followed by spice and grilled herb.
