The 2013 Nuits St Georges les Didiers Cuvée Hospice de Nuits, which is aged entirely in new oak, has an engaging vanilla and coca-tinged bouquet that is well defined. The palate is medium-bodied and clearly showing a lot of oak vanillin at the moment with a long candied finish. It would be nice if there was less new oak here, but that ? the way the Hospice de Nuits rolls. Compared with the 2012, I would probably have bid on last year's barrel. 89-90
