The 2014 Gevrey Chambertin 1er Cru les Champeaux has a gorgeous bouquet with ripe, very floral, rose petal-infused red cherry, wild strawberry and mulberry fruit that gains intensity and confidence in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin, tensile and tightly-coiled with a touch of bitter cherry on the tart finish. Engaging, edgy and very focused, this is a superb 2014 from Jean-Marie. Drink 2018-2035 - NM 92-94
