This is also quite strongly reduced so some time in a decanter would be beneficial. There is outstanding richness to the seductively textured and opulent flavors that coat the palate with dry extract while the citrus-tinged acidity is sufficiently firm to maintain the balance on the saline-inflected finish. This too will be approachable young if desired.
Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The Chassagne Montrachet 1er Cru la Maltroie, racked a month ago and taken from tank, has a delightful, lime-scented nose with stony scents developing just behind. The palate is well balanced with good weight in the mouth, crisp acidity although I found just a slight abruptness on the finish that will hopefully be remedied by the time of bottling. This is a commendable premier cru, though this domaine made better premier crus in 2013. Range: 89-91

Wine Spectator
A powerful, viscous white, with floral, lemon oil and mineral notes. Delivers good acidity and a chalky sensation, leaving a juicy impression on the finish. Best from 2018 through 2028.
