James Suckling
Dark plum paste and tarry, stony notes leading to a palate with supple and tangy redder plum flavors. Bright tangerine and cherry fruit to close. Tannins are super fine.
Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The medium to full-bodied 2015 Saint Joseph Les Cotes comes from vines (re)planted in 1999 in the commune of Mauves. Aged entirely in used barriques, it's ripe and creamy in the mouth, with layers of mixed berries and a supple, easy finish that suggests early drinkability.

In addition to the stellar lineup from Cornas, Voge releases a terrific Saint Joseph. All from the Les Cotes lieu-dit outside of Mauves, the 2015 Saint Joseph Les Côtes sports a deep purple color as well as lots of black and blue fruits, some forest floor and tapenade notes, a ripe, sexy, voluptuous style on the palate, and terrific purity of fruit. It’s another beautiful wine from this estate, which is clearly at the top of their game.
