Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The 2015 Beaune 1er Cru les Perrieres contains two-thirds whole cluster fruit and is matured in 25 new oak. That whole cluster lends this an attractive earthy, woodland scent to the aromatics, a hint of dried orange peel developing with time. The palate is medium-bodied with crisp tannin, fresh acidity, quite structured with an assertive, rather austere finish. I would like a little more flesh once in bottle.
