A restrained and beautifully spicy nose offers up notes of purple fruit, violet, anise and a hint of wood toast. There is good muscle, punch and power to the middle weight plus flavors that exude a fine bead of minerality on the beautifully persistent finish. This is a blend of power and refinement though at least some patience will be necessary. *Outstanding*
