Critics Scores
Decanter
A reserved nose of lemon and lime zest, crème pâtissière, toasted nuts and toasted wheat introduce an intense, concentrated and full-bodied wine. It's ampler than the Clos de la Maltroie, with a glossily textural attack, pure and deep at the core.
Wine Spectator
A sleek, firmly structured white, exhibiting spiced apple, peach, vanilla and citrus peel flavors. Light tannins grace the moderately long finish. The aftertaste suggests butterscotch and baking spice details. Best from 2021 through 2028. 70 cases imported.

From Premier Cru that’s arguably better known for its reds than its whites, but produces very good examples of both, this is a superb 2016 from Michel Coutoux. It’s a Chassagne that has some Puligny zip and freshness to it, with notes of gunflint, smoky oak, citrus and understated spice. 2019-28.
