Vinous

Underripe pineapple, lemon and wet stone on the nose. Silky on entry, then fine-grained, very dry and uncompromising in the middle palate, showing rather austere licorice and anise notes. Another wine of modest ripeness but the gripping, slightly salty, lemony finish displays good subtle rising length. Made from 65- and 33-year-old vines.
