La Vougeraie's holdings in Les Mazoyères are the oldest at the domaine at 104 years of age. This is a correspondingly serious red that was fermented with 80 whole bunches and aged in 40 new oak. It's spicy, aromatic and focussed, with plenty of texture, red cherry and raspberry fruit and a long clove and white pepper finish.
