The domaine's two parcels, covering 0.44ha in all, are both in what is known locally as Charmes-Charmes, right on the edge of Mazoyères. Denis Bachelet's 'haute couture' grand cru has very old vines and the resulting wine is as brilliant as ever, showing sumptuous red fruit sweetness, stylish 50 new wood, filigree tannins and the racy complexity of a great site.
