The 2017 Chambolle-Musigny Les Chabiots 1er Cru comes from vines planted in 1997. It has a well-defined bouquet of brambly red fruit laced with lavender and rose petal aromas. The palate is well balanced and, being completely de-stemmed, shows an engaging fruité on the candied finish. Probably more for short-term enjoyment than Lignier’s other Premier Crus. 88-90
