The 2017 Chambertin Grand Cru has a charming quite regal bouquet with layers of crushed strawberry raspberry and crushed iris aromas that blossom with aeration. The palate is very refined beautifully focused with a silver bead of acidity. There is a sorbet-like freshness from start to finish a gentle crescendo of flavours towards the blackberry raspberry and orange zest finish that lingers persistently in the mouth. Superb. 94-96
