The 2017 Chambolle-Musigny Les Amoureuses 1er Cru feels quite subdued on this day, missing the flamboyance and sensuality that normally one seeks from this vineyard. The palate is more promising with succulent ripe black cherries, boysenberry jam and a sprinkled of sea salt, certainly well balanced with plenty of finesse towards the persistent finish. Very fine, though maybe I expected more?. 90-92 Points
