This is the first wine to display any appreciable reduction and here it's enough to mask all but a few wisps of spice nuances. Otherwise the super-sleek, intense and delineated flavors possess an even more refined texture along with plenty of minerality on the classy and focused finale. This is not quite as dense as the Gevrey but it's still a very, very pretty Vosne villages.
