More discreet though still moderately generous wood treatment suffuses the aromas of baked dark berries where copious amounts of floral and spice influence add breadth. The oak does show up on the palate as well though it's not really enough to detract from the wonderfully textured medium weight plus flavors that are also blessed with an abundance of dry extract on the youthfully austere finale. This beauty is also clearly in need of extended cellaring.
