The 2018 Morey-Saint-Denis La Riotte 1er Cru comes from a parcel that suffers very little hydric stress, according to Laurent Lignier. Including 30 whole bunch and matured with 25 new oak, it has a harmonious bouquet of raspberry, wild strawberry and light sous-bois aromas. The medium-bodied palate offers supple tannins and a fine bead of acidity. Quite generous, with a lovely mineral-rich finish. Excellent.
