Burghound
A background dollop of wood surrounds pungent aromas of mineral reduction, petrol and green fruit. The spicy flavors don't possess quite the same mid-palate concentration though there is still plenty of punch and muscle on the sneaky long and nicely complex finale.
Vinous
The 2018 Chablis Valmur Grand Cru is another stunning wine in this range that captures the essence of the vintage beautifully. A wine of breadth, richness and volume, the 2018 is flat-out stunning. Apricot, dried flowers, savory herbs and light tropical overtones build as the Valmur blossoms in the glass. Silky contours and veins of supporting minerality frame the long, persistent finish. One of thee highlights in this range, the 2018 Valmur is simply captivating.

Decanter
These are among the younger vines at the domaine - planted in 2005 and 2012 - and are located on the warmer, south-east facing side of the Grand Cru. Aged in 40 older wood, the resulting wine is a very well-balanced, hauntingly perfumed white, with fennel and bay leaf aromas, subtle cinnamon spice, some underlying fruit power and racy acidity.
