The 2018 Chablis Vaulorent 1er Cru is a very pretty, refined wine. Soft and floral in its first impression, the 2018 possesses lovely understated depth and textural nuance. Orchard fruit, lemon confit, spice, crushed rocks, slate, a hint of reduction and a touch of oak come together in a wonderfully creamy, expansive and open wine with tremendous balance and tons of style.
