A négociant cuvée derived from sources in Pernand and Ladoix the 2018 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru reveals notes of citrus oil green apple and pear framed by a deft touch of nutty toasty new oak. Full-bodied rich and layered it's lively and incisive but it's more open and expressive than the super concentrated La Croix bottling that hails from the same appellation as Girardin's domaine holdings.91
