Here the nose is quite firmly reduced so I would recommend decanting it for a few minutes first if you're tempted to try a bottle upon release. There is excellent precision to the intense but not especially dense medium weight flavors that possess a wonderfully textured mouthfeel that carries over to the clean, dry and impressively complex finish. This is lovely and harmonious though note that my rating assumes that the nose will clean up with a few years of bottle age.

Decanter
We pick on freshness and use lees to give our wines a little more weight,' says Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey, who harvested this chiselled white from limestone soils in August. This is a cold slope and the restraint comes through in the wine, which is racy, crunchy and mouthwateringly fresh with a backdrop of refined 25 new wood. Drinking Window 2022 - 2028. (TA)
