Decanter
A wine of crystalline purity but not lacking in depth. Produced from just over 2ha of vines, including a bit of Premier Cru Les Fuées and Les Baudes blended in. The grapes in 2019 were picked very ripe on September 14th, and have given a wine that has a lovely, rich dark fruit character, with a smoky edge and a texture on the palate that is silky and fine, yet lingers with satisfying persistence. Drinking Window 2024 - 2039.

This is aromatically similar to the villages in terms of the fruit but with more apparent spice and floral influences. The sleeker, more intense and bigger-bodied weight flavors exhibit more evident minerality on the focused and gorgeously textured finish where a touch of bitter cherry pit character slowly emerges. This markedly firmer effort is also a really lovely wine that possesses a similar degree of finesse but with plenty of punch to go with it. (Drink starting 2031).
