The 2019 Nuits Saint-Georges Aux Argillats 1er Cru, matured in 50 new oak, has greater intensity on the nose compared to the Champs Perrières, and the fruit profile is a notch darker. The palate is medium-bodied with a grippy, masculine entry. Broody and backward, this is a Nuits Saint-Georges that will benefit from cellaring. Very saline on the marine-tinged finish. Plenty of character and class here. One for the long term. 92-94 Points
