The 2019 Vosne-Romanée Aux Brûlées 1er Cru has a gorgeous bouquet of very perfumed, floral dark berry fruit and crushed violets interlaced with India ink, crushed stone and incense; opulent but very refined. The palate is medium-bodied with cashmere tannins that lend a silky texture. Very harmonious and poised, this seems as if it could be quite accessible in its youth, although I suspect it may tighten up after bottling. (NM) 95-97
