The 2021 Richebourg Grand Cru comprises of two barrels this year (one new, one 2-year-old). It has a beautifully-defined bouquet, very pure and intense, easily the most concentrated of all Grivot’s cuvées. Baked cherries, bergamot and a touch of bay leaf. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red fruit, fine acidity, focused with a pliant finish that lingers long in the mouth, leaving a saline residue that urges you to take another sip.
