Showing some sultry reduction, the palate here is currently the tightest of the Grand Crus. The tannins are firm and bold, and the acidity is crisp. It needs several years. Still, there are hints of plums and black cherries encased in toasty oak underneath, and there is ample concentration to allow this to unfold beautifully for years to come.
