The 2021 Doisy-Daëne L’Extravagant is phenomenally great. It offers up a head-spinning mélange of grilled pineapple, ginger, tangerine oil, candied orange peel and cloves. Rich and unctuous, but not at all heavy, L’Extravagant is seriously impressive. It captures all of the intensity of the year and yet retains terrific energy. The 2021 is simply dazzling from start to finish. 96-98
